YOTA, or Youth Of The Apocalypse, is a new supergroup that if you haven’t heard of yet, you need to quit lazing about and check it.

Formed by Jeff Wootton (of Gorillaz) and Jamie Reynolds (of Klaxons), YOTA is a six-piece band that defies labels or genres, but you can make your own mark with that.

They’ve dropped their first single produced by Simian Mobile Disco‘s James Ford, “Drop The Bomb” featuring the one and only lyrical master MF DOOM, and it’s safe to say it’s killer.

YOTA will be playing three special headline dates in the UK at Liverpool‘s Arts Club (June 11th), Manchester‘s Soup Kitchen (June 12th) and London‘s XOYO (13th June) and tickets are available here.
