Russ Soloman, Legendary Founder of Tower Records Dies at 92

Russ Soloman, the legendary founder of Tower Records, the iconic multi-plex superstore that brought music to life, has died at age 92.

Russ created an empire of music selling during the sixties and into the seventies.

Tower Records was the main hub for buying records, where everyone from the average Joe to Elton John shopped for their music needs.

In 2015, Colin Hanks directed an acclaimed documentary on Soloman and Tower Records that we deem is a must-watch.

Rest in Power, Russ, All Things Must Pass.
