The iconic Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia have announced they will be taking a fallow year in 2018.
Alongside the current well-written yet unproven legal troubles with Camp and Furnace, the festival have cited that they are using 2018 as a fallow year to regrow the festival.
“In order to give us the opportunity to do this, the festival will be taking a year off in 2018. A fallow year. An opportunity for the grass to regrow. A chance for us to explore and develop the next phase of the festival’s development” said the festival in their statement.
Meanwhile, certain companies have celebrated their decision and have “stepped up”. Astral Elevator have announced they will hold two special psych events on the standard PZYK dates at Manchester‘s Night People venue.
