Iconic Brit-pop band The Stone Roses officially announced their final retirement tonight at their Hampden Park concert in Glasgow. 

Before leaving, frontman Ian Brown told the adoring crowd “Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy it happened” before ending with “Beautiful Thing“. 

The band released two new singles last year “One For All” and “Beautiful Thing” and have been surrounded in rumours of a new album.
