While there’s tons of new names that you should defintly keep your eyes on, like Tom Low’s TV ME, White Room, Chinah, The Orielles, The Blinders, AGP and Her’s, here is our usual Top Five Acts You Can’t Miss.
5. Amber Arcades
Amber Arcades has grown a lot since we last saw her, with her brilliant new singles like “Can’t Say That We Tried” that has been getting acclaim all around. Last time we saw Amber Arcades, the smooth and laid back performance was quite sublime, if you want something more chilled, there may not be any better on Sunday.
4. The Parrots
The crazy psych rock trio from Madrid return to Liverpool to headline the Genesis Cave stage and with their live performances noted for its high, raw energy, this will be a standout of the day.
3. Psycho Comedy
The psych punks Psycho Comedy are usually quite quiet on the live front, but when they bring their A-game they can seriously bring the heat. Now with releases on their radar, Psycho Comedy will be looking to be a standout on Sunday, and we’re sure they will be.
2. Cabbage
The British nutters Cabbage return once again to their second home Liverpool and will be bringing their signature, crazy live set to the IWF on Sunday. If you want to see the future of British rock, there’s no better place to look than right here.
1. Dream Wife
I spy with my little eye, the bad bitches are back! After a huge success at SXSW and in the road supporting The Kills and Sleigh Bells, Dream Wife are making a return to Liverpool this Sunday and with seeing them multiple times and always being blown away by them, we don’t think I would ever pass up on a chance to see them.
So that’s Sunday, show up and grab a ticket on the door or through DICE and everywhere else now, this isn’t one to be missed!
