Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia have announced their first acts for this year’s festival, including headliners The Black Angels.

The festival, staying at its home at Camp and Furnace, will feature headliners The Black Angels, Songhoy Blues, trailblazers LOOP, Laetitia Sadier (formally of Stereolab), Adrian Sherwood, Wolf People, White Manna and The Comet Is Coming are also billed.

They are joined by Parisian duo Acid Arab, Italian standouts Julie’s Haircut, local oddities Ex-Easter Island Head preforming a one-off large ensemble set, Omni, Meatraffle, the brilliant Sex Swing, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, The Bongolian, Juju, Magic Shoppe, The Sonic Dawn, Yassassin and many more.

Tickets for this year’s festival are on-sale Friday and more announcements will be made in coming months, including the second headlining act.
