The now-removed nu-metal icons Linkin Park have once again changed the course of their career with their latest pop-infused single “Heavy”, which will surely reintroduce the band greatly once again.

The single is far away from the band’s known sounds, with the guitar heavy blasts of nu-metal glory and is even different than their much perfected sound from the A THOUSAND SUNS and LIVING THINGS albums. Furthermore, the track features no rapping from mainstay Mike Shinoda, who could be falling back to work on his Fort Minor project again.

It is also said that the single features work by pop credit Emily Wright, who’s known around the game for writing and producing works by pop titans.
