New wave idols Blondie have released their first new material in three years, the lead single off their upcoming album Pollinator, titled “Fun”.

The upbeat song both channels the classic Blondie while does throw the band into a slightly different territory.

The new album Pollinator, out May 5th, features a host of collaborators including Charli XCX, Blood Orange and Nick Velensi (of The Strokes). The album was also the final recorded album at The Magic Shop in New York.

It was announced last night (31st) that Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry will duet with Sam Herring on “Shadows”, from the forthcoming Future Islands album.
