The line-up for the 2017 Liverpool Sound City festival has been announced and it’s absolutely stunning.
This year’s festival will run over four days at the new location Clarence Docks and will feature the best bill of the festival’s lifetime. Headliners include The Human League (Thursday), John Cale (Friday), Metronomy (Saturday) and The Kooks (Sunday).
The Human League, the synthpop greats will be joined by Dudley, Langen, A Certain Ratio and Art Of Noise’s Invisible Silence to create a night of dancing and electronics.
On Friday, the legendary John Cale will preform The Velvet Underground & Nico for the final time in Europe, joined by special guests to create an amazing show that no Velvet Underground fan should miss.
Saturday will be headlined by the recently returned Metronomy who will be joined by a massive bill below, with The Kills, Slaves, Peaches, The Hunna, Carl Barat & The Jackals, The Japanese House, Fickle Friends, Pumarosa, The Magic Gang, Touts, Be Charlotte and Judas. The day will also include John Cale in conversation, which will be a treat.
The final day Sunday will be headlined by The Kooks, who will be joined by White Lies, Local Natives, Milburn, !!! (CHK CHK CHK), The Sherlocks, Cabbage, She Drew The Gun and The Vyrll Society, April, Paris Youth Foundation and The Shimmer Band.
Tickets for the festival will be on-sale 9am Friday 27th January over at Liverpool Sound City‘s website and will surely be hot sellers.
