Modern Baltimore synthpop greats Future Islands are set to return to Liverpool this April with a very highly anticipated date at the O2 Academy.

Future Islands, the 4AD modern titans will finally return to Liverpool for the first time since their 2014 Kazimier show and will play the O2 Academy on April 29th.

The band last released material as their single “The Chase” in 2015 after a follow-up to their magical Letterman performance.

Their sophomore album is due in summer after a harsh wait since the acclaimed 2014 album Singles.

This date will surely be one for the history books, with the band’s famous stage shows, which have been showcased at such shows like Glastonbury, Coachella and numerous late night programmes.

Tickets are on-sale 24th January.
