Liverpool‘s longstanding acclaimed festival for African and Caribbean music returns for their 25th anniversary year.
Being a fixture in the cultural Liverpool since 1992, African Oyé‘s great free festival will return to Sefton Park (also home of LIMF) for another anticipated year on June 17th and 18th 2017.
While no acts have been announced, African Oyé will be teaming with a number of Liverpool‘s promoters for a selection of shows before and after the June festival is done.
Among these, Festival Bombarda‘s fantastic looking show at the Liverpool Cathedral, bringing Tinariwen to the Invisible Wind Factory with Harvest Sun and lots more.
Artists can no longer apply to preform, however trading applications are still open. The festival is set to take place 17th and 18th of June completely free at Sefton Park.
