Liverpool festivals have won big tonight at the UK Festival Awards.

Liverpool Sound City won the award for Best Emerging Talent, an accolade that the festival team spoke about it’s importance last month at Off The Record.

Liverpool Music Week has won the Best Metropolitan Festival after their smash hit this year featuring the likes of John Carpenter, Warpaint among others.

Positive Vibrations, Liverpool‘s newest festival focused on reggae has officially been voted Best New Festival for 2016 also and is planning to return next year.
