The highly-regarded Montreal band Arcade Fire have been announced as the first headliners of Isle of Wight Festival 2017, taking the Saturday headliner slot.
Arcade Fire, who are currently at work on their fifth LP after 2013’s critically acclaimed Reflektor, have announced it will be their only UK festival of 2017.
Isle of Wight‘s John Giddens stated “I’m so happy to have secured Arcade Fire as our first headliner. David Bowie recommended them and I’ve been a fan ever since.”
Arcade Fire have previously headlined Glastonbury and the Reading and Leeds festivals.
Currently Phil Collins is the name rumoured to take Sunday. Tickets for Isle of Wight are available as of today, don’t miss Arcade Fire‘s only UK festival spot of 2017.
