The iconic British metal band Iron Maiden have announced a Liverpool Echo Arena date for the European leg of their Book of Souls World Tour. They will play the Echo on May 20th 2017, supported by the U.S hard rock outfit Shinedown.

The band stated they can’t wait to get back to the “intimacy” of arenas after the band continued to make their mark as metal giants by playing major festivals and stadiums, such as headlining this year’s Download Festival.

The band have noted their excitement to play Liverpool where they haven’t “played since 1990”.

Tickets are available this Friday through all major ticket sellers. Iron Maiden have announced all dates will be ticketless to battle tout selling.
