The Stone Roses have announced their supporting acts for their upcoming UK tour dates this year and their choices are varied in styles, which will please goers. The legendary British band are scheduled to play the Manchester Etihad Stadium on the 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th of June in what will be highlights of 2016’s UK music scene. Firstly, they have announced their special guests with a amazingly strange choice in the legendary, iconic rap group Public Enemy will be their special guests on all Etihad dates.
On the 15th, The Roses will be supported by the Reggae-Revival artist Chronixx and homegrown indie pop/rock band Blossoms, who have been leaving a stamp everywhere they’ve been recently. The 17th will see Wirral kings The Coral support along with iconic British punk rock band Buzzcocks.
The 18th will see Merseyside artist Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, both formally of pop act The Beautiful South will support with ground-breaking 90s dub/rock/eletronica group Audioweb, who have been way under the radar in recent years. The 19th will see the Courteeners play one of their only non-festival gigs of 2016 supporting The Stone Roses along with African desert blues act Songhoy Blues.
