Palma Violets Pulled From Sound City, Greg Wilson Replaces

London based indie rock band Palma Violets have been cancelled their main stage slot at tomorrow’s Sound City festival due to “unforeseen circumstances” and 80s electro pioneer Greg Wilson has been named as their replacement.

Palma Violets were set to take stage at 6:15pm on the Atlantic Stage just two acts before headliners Catfish and The Bottlemen and had an anticipated set. 80s electro pioneer Greg Wilson will take the slot with a special headline set after already being scheduled for the offcial afterparty and a panel. Wilson caught fame in the early 1980s as a pioneer during the early electro scene in Manchester where famously people would travel from all around the UK to see him DJ at the famous Legend club.

We’ve contacted Sound City to see if Wilson will still be preforming his afterparty sets over the weekend.
