The Coral Smash Their Later… Performance

Wirral giants The Coral preformed their latest album offering’s second single “Miss Fortune” last night on BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland and to put it in fair words, they smashed it.

The band led by frontman James Skelly immediately took everybody’s attention after being welcomed back by host Jools Holland, boasting confidence in their materiel and performance skills and with that, they should be. Their latest album Distance Inbetween has gained rave reviews (currently holding a “Universal Acclaim” rating of 81/100 on the metascore site Metacritic) and of-course it should do.

Since reuniting at the end of 2015, the band quickly aimed to take a different path than most “comeback bands”, they proved that they didn’t make their grand return to play their old materiel live and make money doing-so, they proved they’ve reunited to accomplish the goal of creating great music and preforming said-music to their fans (and hey, with acts like LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses etc. reuniting nowadays, The Coral seemed to do it first).

The band seem to be on-fire right now although they only have six dates on their schedule right now including the headline slot at Liverpool Sound City at the end of May, so if you can get out to see them, we highly recommend you do.
